El Grito de la Independencia
September in Mexico is a month of patriotic celebrations. Every sunday or so, processions are to be seen in the streets of little villages; the cities cover up in national colors, red/white/green, with flags and/or lights on various buildings as the night settles in. Street vendors specialized in patriotic colourful objects and clothes get to be on every street corner for those who might lack a last-minute patriotic little something. In the supermarkets as well, you'll find costumes and dresses for kids or adults.
Comida y Música en Monique’s Bakery
After all the efforts, something sweet was needed. On a Sunday, with the girls from the yoga class, we went to have brunch at Monique's Bakery.
