September in Mexico is a month of patriotic celebrations. Every sunday or so, processions are to be seen in the streets of little villages; the cities cover up in national colors, red/white/green, with flags and/or lights on various buildings as the night settles in. Street vendors specialized in patriotic colourful objects and clothes get to be on every street corner for those who might lack a last-minute patriotic little something. In the supermarkets as well, you'll find costumes and dresses for kids or adults.

Últimos momentos en Chiapas
Our last day in Chiapas was very peculiar since we spent it with our friends from El Ejido San Miguel, those who welcomed us with arms and hearts wide open. Together, with lots and lots of smiles, we went swimming and admire Nature's wonders around the waterfalls of Agua Azul and Misol-Ha, on the road between Palenque and San Cristóbal de las Casas.

After all the efforts, something sweet was needed. On a Sunday, with the girls from the yoga class, we went to have brunch at Monique's Bakery. The girls already knew the place because Monique is quite attracted by all natural as they are, and the way she cooks shows it well. Natural products, home-made bread (and, what a bread!
