This week challenge : Everyday Life
This picture was taken in San Juan Chamula, samll town on the north-west slopes of San Cristóbal de las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, but what it conveys can be see throughout the whole country : indigenous children and young ladies are in the streets all day long, every day, trying to sell their home-made goodies to tourists and locals alike.
Raul was my eye that day; he’s got a great one (a much better one than myself most of the time), he loves taking portraits and is quick at it. Thank him for this beautiful shot.

…. and of course, many many more! …
This person looks like an adult and a child.
They see and live so much of life in their little village away from everything; have so much in their heart and so little in their hands; you learn a lot from just watching them and even more if you get to spend time with the communities.
« So much in their heart and so little in their hands » – great summation of so many communities.
Beautiful. Very beautiful…
Just like you, my post is about someone who sell their home made goods. It is batik our (Indonesian) national outfit. Hope you can check it sometime.
