Although it’s not been easy, what with the distance (one of us being in Mexico and the other in France for most of the year), Love is as strong as ever and fills our hearts with joy. We’re celebrating today our first year as a married happy couple! Yeah!
Cheers to what’s coming next! ❤
Did you do something special for your 1-year wedding anniversary?
Youpi!
Happy anniversary Juls – an unconventional one but you seem well suited to that 🙂
We’ll make sure the others are as unconventional but together, celebrating otherwise 😆 thanks for your thoughts, Roy!
Happy anniversary, doll! I don’t remember what we did. We were pretty young and dumb…probably nothing!
Ahahaha
February sounds like a good month to celebrate, maybe on a carnival in Venice 😉 Best wishes to you and your hubby, Juls.
We thought about it… we’ll see… 😆
😆😊 gracias !
Wow, congratulations! I’m sure the distance can be difficult at times, but it is probably going to make you stronger as a couple. Wishing you all the best for your future together!
That’s how we convince ourselves too… 😊 thanks!
Well done.
Ahahaha thanks! 😉 1 down, so many more to go!
After 47, the first is too far back to be anything but a hazy memory. I do have some recollection of buying a sapphire eternity ring, and it is still worn every day 😉
Blessings for you and Raul to have many more happy anniversaries.
Happy 47 to you! Thanks for the good wishes, we’ll do as well and long, hopefully!
Plein ! 💖
Congratulations and may you be blessed with many, many more happy years together. Having been married for 31 years, I have no idea what we did for our first anniversary. But I’m all for travel to celebrate almost anything, so enjoy your trip to Italy. 🙂

Thank you! And happy 32nd, then! Happy holiday season too!
Congratulations! In America, there’s an old tradition of eating the top part of your wedding cake on your first anniversary. I had a tiered cake and saved the top portion for a year…but it didn’t taste very good after being in the freezer that long! (I was also 3 weeks from delivering our first child on our first anniversary. Not a tradition, and not necessarily recommended, but a fabulous blessing in my case.)
Well, we’ll celebrate with a trip to Italy in February. There was no special cake that day, we had crêpes 😆
Having your first child for the occasion must have been so delightful !
Italy sounds like a delicious celebration in itself!
