De retour de 2 mois de pause loin d’Internet du blog – malheureusement, je n’ai pas été assez forte pour me couper complètement de la toile cette année et suis restée un peu trop connectée à mon goût… -, je suis ravie de vous confirmer de belles aventures, de magnifiques paysages, de nouvelles rencontres, une famille agrandie et de chouettes retrouvailles entre amis.
Laissez-moi vous montrer quelques uns de ces moments qui ont rendu cet été en France incroyable et la raison toute particulière pour laquelle je reviens aussi souvent que possible: c’est lorsqu’on est loin de chez soi qu’on en réalise toute la valeur et qu’on en voit toute la beauté. C’est lorsque l’on y revient que l’on veut le découvrir et en profiter au maximum.
Alors que je m’apprête à reprendre l’avion vers le Mexique, je remplis mon cœur de nouveaux souvenirs à chérir. Un grand merci à tous ceux qui m’ont retrouvée ici et là pour que nous puissions passer un moment ensemble, même si c’était court.

[En] Back from my 2-month hiatus from the Internet blog – unfortunately, I wasn’t good enough at withdrawing completely from the entire web this year and still stayed connected way too much for my liking… -, I’m happy to report great adventures, beautiful landscapes, new encounters, larger family and awesome friends reunions.
Let me show you some of those moments that made up an incredible summer in France and the very reason why I try to come back often enough: it’s away from home that we realize its value and catch its beauty. It’s when we’re back that we want to discover and enjoy it all again to the fullest.
About to embark on that plane back to Mexico, I fill up my hearts with new memories to cherish. A big thank you all who met up with me here and there so we could be together even a short while.

[Es] De vuelta de mi pausa de 2 meses lejos del Internet del blog – por desgracia, no supe alejarme suficiente de la tela este año y todavía creo que me quedé conectada demasiado… -, dejenme asegurarles de aventuras hermosas, paisajes increíbles, nuevos encuentros, una familia más grande y reuniones de amigos perfectas.
Les muestro ahora algunos de esos momentos que hicieron un verano hermoso en Francia y la razón principal por la cual intento regresar lo más enseguida posible: es cuando uno está lejos de casa que se da cuenta de su verdadera valor y que puede ver toda su belleza. Es cuando uno regresa que puede descubrirlo y disfrutarlo a su máximo.
A punto de subirme de nuevo al avión de vuelta a México, relleno mi corazón de esos recuerdos para calentarmelo. Gracias enormes a todos los que vinieron a verme por ahí y por acá, para que estemos juntos, aunque sea un rato.

Awesome pics as always Juls. Love the peaceful one of the grassy trail in Normandy. Highlight of my summer was a rare trip off-Island to Cork, Ireland. Bon voyage.
Ireland must be lovely to visit this time of year. I’ve never been there but hope to someday…

From what we can see you had a splendid summer en France! It was hot and sunny right? How wonderful that you got back together with your family and explored more of the land!
Although I love the big city, I prefer being out there in nature and the open road.
That moment when you meditated on the mountain looks like un moment très Zen, the energy must have been phenomenal!

Living on the beach makes me appreciate the mountains more. I never liked the big cities much except on short visits (Paris and New York City are dome of my favorites, although slightly « cliché » 😉 )
Summer in France was pretty hot but we’re used to it in the south.

Looks like a glorious summer, Juls. Thanks for sharing the beautiful photos with us. I did lots of traveling this summer (or from March until August). That was great and I had lots of good time at home as well. Can’t beat that.
