A good surprise this week on my Viewbug page: « View over the Sound of Last Hope » won the Member Selection Award. Nothing fancy but very much worth noticing and appreciating. It was taken 2 and 1/2 years ago above Puerto Natales, Chile, while out horseback-riding at the end of our 3-month volunteering at my friends’ hostel & bar, erratic rock & Base Camp.
It gives me a reference and maybe a bit more confidence to enter some of my pictures of Patagonia into the 3rd Patagonia Photo Contest held by Patagon Journal… Should I?

[Es] Una buena sorpresa este semana en mi página de Viewbug: « View over the Sound of Last Hope » ganó el Member Selection Award. Nada extravagante pero recibido con mucho gusto y apreciación. Saque esta foto hace 2 años y 1/2 mientras estabamos haciendo una cabalgata por encima de Puerto Natales, Chile, al final de nuestros 3 meses de voluntariado al hostal y al bar de nuestros amigos, erratic rock & Base Camp.
Me da una referencia y tal vez un poco más de confianza para proponer unas fotos de Patagonia en el 3° Concurso de Fotografía de la Patagonia del Patagon Journal… ¿Debería?

[Fr] Une bonne surprise cette semaine sur ma page Viewbug: « View over the Sound of Last Hope » a gagné le Member Selection Award. Rien de bien extraordinaire mais c’est agréablement accepté et pris en compte. Cette photo a été prise il y a 2 ans 1/2 lors d’une balade à cheval au-dessus de Puerto Natales au Chili, à la fin de nos 3 mois de bénévolat à l’auberge et au bar de nos amis, erratic rock & Base Camp.
Ça me donne une référence et peut-être un peu plus de confiance en moi pour proposer certaines photos de Patagonie au 3ème Concours de Photographie de Patagonie du Patagon Journal… Est-ce que je devrais?

Yes! You definitely should enter more photos! I especially like your photos of the light on, forgive me if I get this wrong, the El Dentes mountains. Maybe it’s Fitzroy or maybe they are just unnamed mountains in Patagonia. Your photos are amazing!
The mountains you’re talking about are the main range inside Torres del Paine Nat. Park.
