Raul and I don’t set New Year’s resolutions. We have dreams, projects and we try to make them happen, the best way possible. Our horizon have expanded recently by a 10-day trip to Cuba, where we discovered yet another stunning beach in Varadero. I chose this picture for today’s photo challenge because of this but also because our new horizon implies another beach too. 😉

Enjoy the day and what’s to come!

I agree with the idea of not setting New Year’s resolutions. I’m with you. Stunning picture 🙂
Cuba is such an easy scene! 😉
I love how you don’t have a New Year’s resolution and do goals instead. Can’t wait to hear about Cuba.
Thanks! I have a tendency to stick to goals and not to resolutions… better choose the option that will lead somewhere 😉
Posts on Cuba are incubating… Thanks for your interest!
Welcome
Picture perfect; a perfect picture!
😄😄😄
Lovely shot, but I’d vote for the lesser number of tourists, too. 🙂

It was not that crowded either because the beach is very long but I love more secluded 😄
That looks like the perfect horizon and the perfect beach. The kind of place we’re looking forward to for our next vacation. As much as the entire family loves Disney, there is nothing relaxing about it. For our next trip we want white sands, palm trees, and lots of relaxation.
It was a stunning beach… but a tat too touristy for us. I’d recommend Tulum, Mexico, one of my favorite ever or the one we’ll be on soon, on Holbox island. 😉 There’s everything you’re looking for: white sand, palm trees and lots of relaxation.
I’ll have to keep that in mind. The one thing I didn’t mention is that my wife is going to want to do some shopping. While I’d be perfectly happy photographing and snorkeling all day long, my wife and daughter are going to want to shop. Sadly that means we’ll probably end up in one of the more touristy destinations no matter where we go.
Ah yes, you’re right. That tiny island where we’ll be has enough shops to entice your wife and daughter for 1 or 2 days, but that’d be it. Maybe you can stop by for 3 days and then go to the more touristy places 😉
