What are the odds of having the opportunity to visit Machu Picchu, Peru, twice in a lifetime?
I was lucky enough to visit this magical place on April 11, 2010 the first time. Today, I can say that I’ve been even luckier to have had the opportunity to come back again. It was on August 11, 2014 (4 years and 4 months after my first visit) and this time, I was in such great company that it definitely is one of the best moments of our year-long trip together with Raul.

Qui peut dire qu’il a été 2 fois dans sa vie voir le Machu Picchu au Pérou?
J’ai eu la chance d’aller voir ce lieu magique le 11 Avril 2010 pour la première fois. Aujourd’hui, je peux dire que j’ai été d’autant plus chanceuse que j’ai pu y retourner. C’était le 11 Août 2014 (4 ans et 4 mois après ma première visite) et cette fois, j’étais en si bonne compagnie que ce moment est certainement un des plus beaux de ce voyage d’un an avec Raul.

Tuve la suerte de visitar éste lugar mágico el 11 de Abril del 2010 por primera vez. Hoy, puedo agregar que tuve una nueva oportunidad y pude regresar. Fue el 11 de Agosto del 2014 (4 años y 4 meses después de mi primera visita) y ésta vez, estaba en tan buena companía que éste momento definitivamente es uno de los más hermosos de nuestro viaje de un año juntos con Raúl.

Ive never been to macchu piccu but always wanted to. missed it when i was in peru. but i have climbed a sacred chinese mountain, Taishan, 3 times! some mountains just invite you back! they say if you climb taishan you will live to be 100 years old, in that case, 300 years gives me plenty of time to get to macchu piccu! 🙂 🙂
Definitely!! and you will have the time of your life at Machu Picchu, although no one says nothing about living older if you climb that one… Where is Taishan? the day I go back to China, I’d be happy to discover it too!

Taishan is in Shandong, between Beijing and Shanghai. It is also known as East Mountain and is the most sacred of Daoist mountains.I got to Peru and wanted to go to Cusco and Maccu Piccu, but ran out of time and money!

I dream of going back to China since I had to cut short my time there and only saw Beijing and parts of the Great Wall. I went to Peru twice and Machu Picchu both times. It felt eerie and magical on each visit.
