Last week’s challenge: Zigzag.
Better late than never… I’m currently walking my way towards Machu Picchu, Peru, right now, so I can’t play this week’s challenge; but since I couldn’t play last week’s on time, here is my entry for that challenge instead: the zigzags of salt on the world’s highest and biggest Salt Flats, near Uyuni, Bolivia. A desert crossing I’ll tell you more about soon…

Looking forward to hearing about your travels!
Thanks for your support! the tale will come in due time! you’ll love it, I’m sure! a lot of surprises, colors and fun! 😉
This is a fantastic shot! And a very original take on the prompt.
Thank you, Mara! it just popped into my mind when I saw the theme, since we had just gone that way!
That’s an interesting take on the theme. It’s fascinating how all these cracks in the desert have five or six sides. Any idea why:
You’re welcome to come visit my late take on zigzag: http://wp.me/p255bn-ei
No idea why, Cris… the guide was not knowledgeable enough in that sense, unfortunately; but I’ll have to dig into it on the web, surely there’s an explanation! thanks for stopping by!
Always fun to visit new people with these challenges. That’s one of the reasons I do them. 🙂
It reminds me of pancake ice!
😛 mmmmh delicious! but you wouldn’t stick your tongue to that one! what too salty!
