How lucky for me to have been wandering Colorado in the middle of autumn! Between the views up at Vail Pass where some patches of snow were already staying and those admired from Piney Lake where we saw those mooses I talked to you about not so long ago, my eyes never rested!
As it is less than probable that you could appreciate those colors in southern France in particular, I wanted to share with everyone those of the americain continent!
I surely hope you’ll like them!
This is an amazing gallery, Julie. I love each of the posted photos. BRAVO!!!
Thank you Paula! Colorado was just beautiful! the photos are only a mere reflection… 😀
I am sure you did it justice :). I did not have any luck with colours here this Autumn – it was Summer, steaming hot pre-Autumn, then Summer again, and now they are forecasting Winter :S
ahaha! it must have been the same in southern France! and as it always is there as well as in Mexico, I truly was happy to be in Colorado and then the Pacific Northwest to admire some truly colorful places and enjoy those reds I so much love!
I hope winter’s gonna be nice, though, as it also is slowly creeping up towards Chicago, where I am now for a few more days…
Amuse-toi bien Juls 🙂
Beautiful photos…love the Vail Pass shots!!
😉 Glad you liked them! We enjoyed such beautiful days in lovely places, it was nice to be able to share a bit…
These shots are breathtaking! I am reminded how my world was changed when I first saw the mountains in Colorado when I was ten…
Thank you Janet! I’ve also become a big fan of Colorado after the very first time I set foot there. I can’t wait to be back again! 😀
Magnifique 🙂
thank you so much!
Juls … beautiful pictures of my dear state Colorado. Thanks for reminding me of about the Piney Trail. I have never thought about that trail for a fall hike but it is definitely on my list for next year now. Was so nice to meet you here and hope you come back sometime sooner rather than later.
I’m happy I could remind you of a gem of Colorado nearby! 😉 I can’t wait to come back with Raul and show him around and discover more! I’ll keep in touch for sure! 😀
Beautiful! I have got to find a way to get out there some day!
you sure do! and I keep seeing those beautiful colors in Washington state and now in Illinois!!! I’ll enjoy Fall as long as it lasts here and there! 😀
Wonderful colors Juls !
yes, they were! and although I’m not in Colorado anymore, it’s still Fall in the States and I keep enjoying the colors everywhere here!
