This week challenge : Unique
Road-tripping with Marion and Johanna in southern Australia, back in July 2010, we came across that sign soon after leaving Johanna’s beach (it’s called like that, really!)… I had to backtrack the car and sit by the sign to make sure that I was seeing right : no signs of snow over there… unfortunately, nor of the kangaroo. But the roadsign definitely made it top of Unique-ness.
[Es] Mientras viajaba con mis amigas Marion y Johanna en el sur de Australia, en Julio del 2010, pasamos al frente de este señal unos minutos después de haber visto Johanna’s beach – la Playa de Johanna – (es el nombre de la playa, ¡se lo juro!)… Tuve que regresar y checar la señal para asegurarme de lo que veía : no había nada de nieve por ahí… y desgraciadamente tampoco del canguro. Pero la señal logró mantener una posición única en mi memoria.
[Fr] En plein road-trip avec Marion et Johanna dans le sud de l’Australie, en Juillet 2010, on s’est trouvées nez à nez avec ce panneau quelques kilomètres après avoir découvert Johanna’s beach – la Plage de Johanna – (c’est son nom, j’vous jure!)… J’ai dû faire demi-tour pour m’assurer d’avoir bien vu! Aucun signe de neige par ici… et malheureusement rien non plus du kangourou… Mais ce panneau, lui, s’est retrouvé en tête de palmarès pour la palme de l’«Unique.»

Maybe it was warning of kangaroos water-skiing?????
maybe! didn’t think about that one! 😉 … and didn’t see them either… will have to go back and check, that’s all I see! 😉

maybe… although, I would have used it in the same unique way if I had found it in Switzerland : kangarus? in Switzerland? any ways you look at it, it surely is a funny one! 😉
