Lavacolla – Santiago de Compostela
10 kms (total: 806 kms, according to my cell-phone counter; guides and maps say 854 kms; the pilgrim’s office says 845 kms!)
2 hours and 22 minutes (+ 40 minutes of breakfast and photo breaks).
6 – 23°C., sunny all day.
Favorites: I DID IT! WE DID IT! How wonderful, this feeling of achievement!
Downs: none today, how can there be any?!!!
Stayed at the Albergue de Lavacolla (12€/night), on El Camino, at the exit of the village, in Lavacolla.
Staying at Pensión San Roque tonight (20€/night for a single room), rúa Hospitaliño 7, in Santiago.
We celebrate all day today, visiting and being good tourists, getting our Compostela (the certificate of completion of El Camino) and other kinds of souvenirs, getting ready for what’s to come tomorrow… HAPPY!
Buen Camino! 😁
none today, how can there be any?!!! – That’s so awesome. Yup. It is truly an awesome feeling. When I reached the Whitney Portal (although the High Sierra Trail ended at Mt. Whitney summit), I felt more complete than at the top of Mt. Whitney to be honest. LOL And nothing could top it. Kudos!
😀 😀 😀
