30 kms (total: 222 kms)
8 hours and 30 minutes (including lunch and photo breaks).
19 – 31°C., very sunny all day.
Favorites: feeling good in my shoes, having breakfast after 7 kms in a nice typical local village (Sansol), the trail going up and down and flat and making all my muscles work at some point, the unexpected fiesta in La Viana, finding a bed at church in Logroño after those 30 kms when all other pilgrim’s hostels were full.
Downs: can’t feel my feet anymore!
Stayed at El Buen Descanso, 13 Nicanor Pascual in Los Arcos (15€/person/night for a double room).
Meeting up with Marie and Bert for diner.
Tomorrow is another on El Camino 🙂
Sounds like a long stretch. I can walk 5km in an hour, but I reckon 30km is a fine achievement, Julie. Talk to your feet and let them know you care 😉
I usually walk 4 km/hour here, sure feels good. And I give my feet massages every night 😉
