I am a French / French sign language interpreter. The world is my playground. Home is wherever my backpack is, wherever the wind and my whims take me. Curious traveler (39 countries visited so far), crazy about heights, amateur photographer, newbe yogi, motivated trekker, passionate (sky)diver, clumsy writer, I'm always looking for the next happy moment!
On an eco-friendly journey, every day more conscious of the consequences of my actions on the environment, I also avidly learn about any trick I can live by and share, to make the world a better, greener and safer place for everyone.
Currently based back in southern France for work, learning Japanese, discovering permaculture, I’m also planning my next getaway!

So pretty! Over here, Teneriffe is very underrated, it’s thought of as an out-dated tourist destination. But I went there many times as a flight attendant and it really is such an amazing island, so beautiful. Especially viewed from above, you can really see how lush and green it is – with its vulcanic sand. So happy you did a photo post from there 🙂
We loved Tenerife! Such a surprise! There will be more posts, believe me! 😉 Much to wonder at!
so moody. Great photo, Jul!
Thanks! It was a lovely evening 😊
I can imagine that. 😊👍🏼
Sadly my abiding memory is one of the dire Playa de las Americas and the contempt of the locals for their British visitors, though with good reason. I’m sure the island has much more to offer.
We were hosted in Playa de las Americas but didn’t visit that beach; everything felt so fake there.
Local people have only showed us the best of them. I’m sure it’s changed since the last time you came. It is a marvelous place.
Yes, it was over 20 years ago Juls and perhaps things have changed.
Wow, this looks stunning! Never thought that Tenerife would be so beautiful.
I’ve never been there, but now it’s on my To-Travel-list 😉
It was our first time too and I must tell you this island has very much to offer! It’s absolutely stunning and this picture is just one of the beauties I’ll try and show you to convince you more! 😉
Great, looking forward to it! 🙂
