Great picture, beautiful colors! I have pictures of that mountain, too, but not from a field further away, like this. If I remember right, your hiking trips sounded much more adventurous than ours anyway 🙂
The people I learned hiking with that year were so adventurous, I just had to follow… And realized I loved hiking that way! (but I’d rather be with someone than alone, still).
Fitz Roy mountain remains a fabulous, one-of-a-kind memory.

Finding time after work is my mantra; working to have enough money to go is my goal. Never work too long, though, life doesn’t wait.
Those mountains are impressive.
Even more so when in front of them or climbing to the beautiful lake at their base. Magic!

I’m pretty jealous of that view! When we were there, thick cloud cover hid Fitz Roy and the other peaks. 😦 We still adored EL Chalten, though!
I understand you; second time I was in El Chalten, the view was not as good but still had its charm 😉
