This week’s challenge : Focus.
Raul and I ended up at the Mont-Saint-Michel yesterday, our last stop in Normandy. Thinking of the lattest article of the Dailypost because I sensed it would give out our challenge this week and because « Focus » is something I’ve been working on in my own pictures during my vacation, I played a lot with it and finally succeeded in snapping this image. Sorry, you won’t see the other unfocused ones leading to that one as, unhappy about them, I borrowed them once I got this one!
One of the last times I played with it was, like everybody else there, in Uyuni Salt Flats in Bolivia.
[Es] Raúl y yo estábamos en el Mont-Saint-Michel ayer, nuestra última parada en Normandia. Tenía en la mente el último artículo del Dailypost porque me imaginaba que lo usarían para el reto de la semana y también porque el « enfoque » es algo en cuál estuve pensando para mis fotos durante esas vacaciones. Jugué mucho con el tema hasta que logre sacar ésta foto. Lo siento, no les puedo mostrar las desenfocadas que me ayudaron a llegar a esa última porque, como no me gustaban, las borre después de tener ésa.
Una de las últimas veces que jugue con perspectiva fue, como todo el mundo ahí, en el Salar de Uyuni en Bolivia.
[Fr] Raul et moi étions au Mont-Saint-Michel hier, notre dernier arrêt normand. J’avais en tête le dernier article du Dailypost parce que je me doutais que ce serait le thème du challenge de la semaine et parce que j’ai travaillé sur le « focus » moi-même pendant mes vacances sur mes propres photos. J’ai beaucoup joué avec l’aperture de l’appareil photo avant d’obtenir celle-ci. Désolée, je ne peux pas vous montrer celles qui m’ont permis d’arriver à cette-dernière car, comme elles ne me plaisaient pas, je les ai effacées après avoir réussi celle-là.
Une des dernières fois où j’avais joué avec la perspective, comme tout le monde là-bas, fut dans le Désert de Sel de Bolivie.

I love this! Happy memories of a freezing New Year’s Day when my husband had me hold out my hand in the foreground (I had no idea what he was doing) and guided the children back on rocks receding into the ocean, so the picture looked like I was holding the four of them in the palm of my hand.
A good one! I’m sure it must have been a great shot! Can we see it?
Cute! My dad used to do that with us when we were kids. Leaning against the Washington Monument and the Tour Eiffel were my favorites. 🙂
