This week challenge : Changing Seasons
My mother has just arrived from France, where, we heard today, snow has finally showed up. Whereas, here, in Merida, Mexico, she’s enjoying another kind of winter, one that feels and looks just like summer.
[Fr] Ma maman est arrivée récemment de France, où nous apprenons aujourd’hui que la neige est finalement arrivée. Pendant qu’ici, à Mérida, au Mexique, elle profite d’un tout autre hiver, d’un de ceux qui ont le parfum de l’été.
[Es] Mi madre llegó hace poco de Francia, en dónde hoy por fin cayo la nieve. Mientras aqui, en Mérida, México, esta disfrutando de un invierno en todo parecido a un hermoso verano.
